Julia Menard
B.A. (Human Resources Mgmt), Cert. (Conflict Resolution) 

Julia is a trainer and executive coach in private practice, specializing in conflict resolution, leadership development and life/work balance. Julia brings a diverse background to her work, including mediating community and civil disputes starting in 1993, running a victim-offender mediation program, leading a cross-cultural friendship program initiative as well as a province-wide celebration of volunteers, managing volunteers for arts festivals and leading fitness classes for 10 years. She was on the teaching team at Royal Roads University’s Masters in Conflict Analysis and Management for three years and is on faculty at The Justice Institute’s Centre for Conflict Resolution (since 1998). Julia has had articles published in The Network, Focus magazine and Reader’s Digest and puts out a monthly e-zine on Health, Environment and Negotiation issues.
