The ACE (Athlete Community Excellence) Leadership Award has been created to recognize the contribution BC Athletes make to their communities through leadership on and off the playing field. The ACE Leadership Award is presented to high performance athletes who have made a significant contribution through their involvement as an effective leader, advocate or promoter sport and physical activity for the benefit of their community.

 

The ACE Leadership Award celebrates the importance of sport and physical activity in the community and honours the successes BC Athletes have achieved through their work as leaders and change agents; and encourages future and former athletes to stay connected to their community and to make a difference.

 

BC Athlete leaders play a crucial role in building healthy, productive and engaging communities for people young and old.
