Canadian Sport Policy renewal

The Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers met prior to the Canada Games on Feb 10th. They endorsed many action plans including developing a successor policy to the current Canadian Sport Policy. We’ll be in touch soon with ways that you can engage in the renewal process. You can read more about the Ministers’ meeting here… More info about the working groups and the renewal process can be found here.  If you would like to be part of the process or have any other questions, send Jessica an email.

Sport for Development

Our moving forward agenda from the Gathering last June, is well, moving forward! One exciting initiative that you can plug into is the Sport4Change Storytelling Platform; a very exciting initiative designed to share stories and link those in Canada's sport for development community. We had a great meeting on January 18th to discuss the Platform which will launch in Fall 2011. You can read a synopsis of that discussion by clicking here.  For more information and ways to get involved, click here or contact Jessica.
